I freely admit to cyber-stalking my photographer, she's just soooo good at what she does! While cyber-stalking her blog today I came across some DIY that she recently shot at a wedding that is to die for!
Fabric flowers on the invites
Fabric flower on the tree at the guest book table
Fabric flower on the BM's right hand
Fabric flowers on the escort cards
I love these little handmade details! Because they pop up all over the place there is no doubt in my mind that the bride (and probably some friends too) made these little details themselves. It's a part of what makes a wedding so personal and memorable. I'm feeling inspired to do something similar, off to Michael's in a little bit to purchase some goods to do my tulle pomander trial this weekend and maybe picking up some goods for some other DIY projects now too!
Where did you find inspiration for DIY or general wedding ideas?

I'm just addicted to wedding blogs. There is so much DIY inspiration out there, it's almost overload. I want to incorporate so many ideas, I have to remind myself that my save-the-dates do not have to be gocco'd and arrive in envelopes that are embossed and lined. Though I probably will do all of those things, LOL.
I'm pretty sure that my gocco hates me, but I did make and line my own envelopes and create wrap around labels and my own magnet holder cards (I need to finish them and mail them out so I can post about them!) Way more time consuming than I anticipated, but they are fabulous! In my own humble opinion. :)
I found DIY inspiration for photobooth props on a few different wedding blogs. And I stalk all kinds of photographer's blogs for ideas! I also get ideas from online stores...like for favors I would see something I like and then say "I can create and print those labels myself." Or something like that. I love the pics you shared!
So beautiful!
I too am addicted to wedding blogs and I am SO far from getting married it is quite unbelievable! lol
